This past weekend, my partner and I decided to go on a random Trails day adventure. Armed with our cameras and proper sneakers, we headed out using this app called AllTrails. It was pretty handy, I would recommend it if you’re trying to get into trails in your neighborhood.
So, the first one we checked out was called Goat Cave Trail (3900 Deer Ln
Austin, TX 78749).
Well, not thinking about the fact that it has been raining nonstop the past week, we set out dodging the flooded trail in hopes of finding …..GOAT CAVE!
This was a lesson in being open to new experiences and looking past the easy traps of complaining due to the muddy circumstance. Although, the goat cave was a bit small and lack luster…
it was worth it because we saw a lot of natural beauty around us. to quote a favorite saying of mine
Experience is what you get, when you don’t get what you want.
That experience would be learning how to use my camera better. Which, that combined with the charming details in nature around us, was well worth it!
